Entrance Fees
Entrance fees must be paid in full upon joining the Club or in installments over a period of years, depending upon membership category. The initial installment is due upon joining the Club and the balance as of March 1st of each succeeding year. If the member becomes in arrears on any payment to the Club (Entrance fee installment, Annual Dues or house account), the full outstanding balance of the installments will become immediately due and payable. No use of the Club is permitted until the member has paid the first installment of the fees.
Annual Dues are due March 1st each year. Changes to membership categories must be requested by March 15th in writing to the board of directors. Please see below for complete details of each category.

* Add the applicable amount below to the Family membership, for each child member. (Annual Dues):
– Child (under 12) plus $20 annual dues
– Junior (age 12 – 15) plus $40 annual dues
- Student Intermediate (age 16 – 24) plus $140 annual dues
** 5% interest is added in years (2) and (3) where Entrance Fees are spread over a 3-year period, but:
Senior Entrance Fees payable for Senior Intermediates reaching age 35 years are entrance fees paid previously: any balance owing may be spread over 3 years, without interest.

Notes: May 1st is the date for determining category changes due to birth dates.Amounts paid for Entrance Fees are deductible from the Entrance Fees applicable at the time of reaching a membership transfer due to age. The Club does not currently impose a minimum spending requirement. It does, however, levy a staff service charge each September (between $50 and $150). Contact the office for details.
Entrance Fees and Annual Dues may be increased at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
Installment Options
- Intermediates (age 16 to 24): pay their entrance fees in annual installments to the year in which their 24th birthday falls with no service fee.
- Senior Intermediate (age 25 to 34 years): pay an entrance fee (charged annually) towards their senior fees. Credits are deductible from Senior Entrance Fees and the balance (if required) may be spread over a three-year period.
- Senior Playing (age 35 and over): may pay their entrance fees over a three-year period plus a service fee. Fifty percent (50%) is due on joining.
Transfer to Other Categories
- From Student Intermediate to Intermediate or Senior-Intermediate (age 25 to 34 years): an allowance will be made against entrance fees of $50 for each year of Student Intermediate Membership (maximum seven (7) years).
- From Intermediate to Senior-Intermediate (age 25 to 34 years): the entrance fee already paid stands as credit towards the Playing entrance fee.
- From Non-Playing to Playing: (can only be done with the approval of the Board of Directors) an additional entrance fee will be charged equal to the difference between the current Non-Playing fee and the current corresponding Playing fee.
- From Couple Playing to Family or vice versa: There is no additional entrance fee.
- Resignation or to Non-Resident: No refund of installments paid will be made to a member who wishes either to resign or transfer to Non-Resident. However, any future installments may be cancelled upon request to the Club Secretary. In the event of a subsequent transfer back from Non-Resident to Resident status, the amount of unpaid entrance fees will become due and is based on the then current Entrance Fee schedule.
If the transfer to Non-Resident is made with no cancellation of installments, then a subsequent return to the same category will not require payment of any additional fee.
If a member resigns, any reinstatement will only be at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
Annual Dues
May 1st is the operative date for determining category changes due to birth date. Requests for other changes are to be directed to the Club Secretary. Resignations are also to be directed to the Club Secretary and those received after March 15th of the current fiscal year shall not be considered to take effect until the beginning of the following fiscal year (December 1st).
Annual dues will be charged to each member’s Visa or MasterCard in one installment on March 1st unless by prior arrangement in which case these may be paid in two equal installments on March 1st and June 1st.
New members accepted after August 31st are billed pro-rata assuming the Club’s season to be May through September. Pro-rated Annual dues must be paid in full.
Membership Application Forms
Membership application forms and information about the Club may be obtained by a proposer or a seconder from the Club office. Both proposer and seconder must be members of at least two (2) years or Honourary members. The proposer is responsible for the proper completion of the form and its submission to the Club secretary.
Categories of Membership
Honorary
Honorary Members
Members who have paid Senior Playing dues for at least thirty-five (35) years are invited to become honorary members in the 36th year of membership. Certain other persons may upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors be made Honorary Members. These members are accorded full use of the club’s facilities. Honorary members are asked to indicate whether they wish to play tennis once they become honorary as the fee differs.
Distinguished Members
Distinguished members are those members who have been Senior Members in good standing in Non- Playing categories for thirty-five (35) total years, including Senior Non-Playing Member and Non-Resident Member. Members who have been Senior Playing Members who have switched to one of these categories shall also be Distinguished Members.
These Members shall have all the rights and privileges and be subject to all liabilities and penalties of non-voting members and they shall pay annual dues at a sum to be determined from time to time by the Board of Directors. Additionally, persons shall become Distinguished Members for one or more years upon unanimous vote of those Directors present at a meeting of the Board of Directors.
Playing
Family, One Parent or Family Two Parents
Family membership covers the parent(s) and children up to age 15 inclusive, including CHILDREN (under 12) and JUNIORS (12 to 15). Full use of the Club may be made by the parent(s); toddlers and young children have no privileges and must be supervised by a parent at all times when they are on the club grounds. Children (under 12) and Juniors may book tennis courts. All toddlers, children and juniors are limited by certain restrictions posted in the Clubhouse or as stated in the Member Handbook. INTERMEDIATES (16 to 24) who are residing at the family home and registered as full-time students at school are deemed to be STUDENT INTERMEDIATE MEMBERS. There is an additional membership fee for CHILDREN, JUNIORS and STUDENT INTERMEDIATE MEMBERS included in a Family membership.
Senior Single, Playing or Senior Couple, Playing (Over 35 years of age)
These members are accorded full use of the Club.
Senior-Intermediate – formerly Young Senior (Age 25 – 34)
These members may use all of the facilities of the Club.
Student Intermediate (Age 16 – 24)
Any young adult or adult children of playing members who are registered as full-time students, residing at the family home.
Intermediate (Age 16 – 24)
Members whose parents are not members of the Club.
Junior (Age 12 – 15)
Members whose parents must be playing members and may be limited by certain restrictions which are posted in the Clubhouse or as stated in the Member Handbook. Please see the Junior Privileges section for Junior booking rules.
Child (Under 12)
Members whose parents must be playing members. Any children who play tennis. Children may be limited by certain restrictions which are posted in the Clubhouse or as statement in the Member Handbook. Please see the Junior Privileges section for Junior booking rules.
Non-Playing
Single Non-Playing (Social), Couple Non-Playing
The minimum age for membership is 35. These members may use all the facilities of the Club. Tennis court usage is limited to three times per year as a guest of a playing member with the applicable fee. Non-playing memberships are available for individuals or couples only and does not include children.
Non-Resident
Members who have been resident members for at least one year, except Junior and Child members, and subsequently change the location of their permanent residence to a location which is more than 160 kilometers from the Club in a straight line may become Non-Resident members. Non-Resident members may entertain socially at the Club and use the pool up to thirty (30) times a year. Use of the tennis courts is limited to eight (8) times a year.
