Testimonials
Here is what our members have to say about dining at Hillside:
“We haven’t been eating at the club for almost four years and could see a clear improvement. The food has always been good, but as we went at one evening at the end of May it was a pleasant surprise to see the menu with all its tempting choices – some more traditional, some more inventive. When the food arrived it was absolutely delicious and presented in a very clean contemporary way. I loved it and am looking forward to our next dinner at the Hillside – hopefully not another four years down the road.” Alexandra Heidemann – Haslemere, England
“I wanted to thank you for all you did to make my table perfect last Friday. I thought the lunch was super and the service wonderful. You seem to have a great group of students.” Susan Whittall
“It was a wonderful evening thanks to you and Michel. The food has much improved this year. Hope it keeps up, See you when the sun comes out.” Juliette Fortier
“Our dinner on Saturday evening was nothing short of fabulous! My filet mignon actually melted in my mouth. I loved the coconut celeriac purée and Michel was really great at helping us with the wine.” Constance Lechman
“Kevin, I & others had a great time last evening. The food was very good, the staff pleasant & attentive. Pass on the good word to Michael & others.” Mitchell Davey
Dresscode
Dress codes have been established for various activities and areas at the club. All clothing worn at the Club must be club appropriate, neat and free of holes or tears.
Members are asked to ensure that their guests are aware of and observe the dress code while enjoying the Club.
At all times, gentlemen 12 years of age and over must wear shirts with collars.
While not encouraged, club appropriate, clean non-ripped or faded jeans are permissible in areas other than the dining room and dining terrace, on a trial basis.
Clubhouse and Dining Attire
In the Dining Room and on the Dining Terrace, gentlemen 16 years of age and over are required to wear a dress shirt and jacket (tie optional) or a long sleeved dress shirt and tie. Ladies should also be appropriately attired.
On Friday and Saturday nights the dining room atmosphere is more casual, but members are asked to not dress too casually. The exception is on special event evenings, where the previous paragraph applies.
Members may eat in tennis attire or casual clothing (as specified previously) on the Court-Terrace and court-side or by the pool. Tennis shoes must be removed on the pool deck.
Swimming Attire
Swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear that is designed for swimming.
Swimmers may enter the bar area of the main clubhouse area temporarily and only for the purpose of ordering.
Swimmers may not eat on the terrace or in the clubhouse in swimwear.
