This is the first season for the Hillside’s Singles Box Ladder. With 27 competitors for the July/August ladder, we’re looking forward to seeing who will come out on top. Please see below to follow the results and cheer on your fellow members.

The rules for participants are as follows:
- Respecting the level of play each box consists of 4 or 5 players.
- Players have to play against each other between now and June 30.
- Your results will create a ranking which will help to establish new Boxes for the second part of the Box Ladder at Hillside (runs July and August).
- It is your responsibility to contact your opponents and arrange playing times.
- Regular court booking rules apply. You may be bumped by other members and must re-sign in order to complete the match.
- For those who would like to play at noon hour, we are pre-booking one court for the Box Ladder on Mondays and Fridays but you must call the Pro Shop in advance (no later than 10:00 a.m.) to reserve the pre-booked court for your match.
- Please report the score to the Pro Shop via email or in person.
Match format:
- You play a Pro Set first to win 8 games with NO ADD scoring (at deuce next point wins the game with receiver choice of side) and a regular Tie–Breaker at 7-7.
Rankings:
- The ranking order will be decided as follows:
- number of matches won
- head to head
- number of games won
- number of games lost
